Linda Anzaldua - President
President Linda Anzaldua - was one of the founders of Pet Adoptions of Cuero in 2011-2012. Originally from Houston, Linda and her husband Lawrence have resided full time in Cuero since 2006 and became involved in many projects and events. They were awarded the prestigious Community Service Award in 2010 for the many ways they were active in making things better in Cuero and supporting those causes. Linda created, produced and owned Bridal Extravaganza Shows Inc. in Houston since 1983. The successful company was sold in 2006 and at that time was the largest bridal show in the USA with over 950 participating exhibitors and an average attendance of 20,000 over the 2 day run of the event. She has always had a strong bond with pets and saw the need to have a non-profit shelter in Cuero to care for the homeless and abandoned cats and dogs. For the past 9 years, one can most likely find her daily at the shelter as a truly dedicated volunteer
